OK I need to clarify a few things before making my purchase, hope you can help:

Core 2 Quad Q9450
Asus P5K Premium Mobo
Tuniq tower 120 HSF
OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-8000C5 1000MHz ReaperX
2 x XFX Geforce 8800GTX
Soundblaster X-fi xtreme gamer
Gigabyte Odin Pro PSU 800M modular
Antec P182 case

My questions are as follows:

1) Does the tuniq tower fit the Asus P5K mobo ok?
2) Will the large coolers on the OCZ Ram modules get in the way of the Tuniq Tower?
3) By using 2 x 8800GTX in sli, will I be blocking off all PCI slots and be unable to plug the X-Fi soundcard in?
4) Will it all fit in the Antec P182 case? lol

Really hope you can help, would appreciate any sage advice you can give as it's gonna be a big purchase for me :) Many thanks.

The biggest problem that I can see, and a far more important one than anything else is that the motherboard doesn't support SLi, you need a 7X0i chipset based motherboard for that. :)

//edit what size of screen are you planning to pair that system with?

Ahh ofc, like the Asus P5N-T. P5K is crossfire isn't it? Good shout.

And the monitor is a Samsung 245B 24" running at 1920x1200

That would be better, in order then.
1) I'm not totally sure as the heatsinks look pretty big on the P5N-T.
2) Shouldn't imagine so, there is a fair bit of distance between them but the heatsink/coolers on the Ram aren't really necessary for most so you could change the Ram easily for something which isn't quite so excessive.
3) Although you've got three PCI-E 16x it would be pretty tight whichever slot you put the lower of the two graphics cards in, it should be possible if you put the cards in the uppermost and lowest of the PCI-E 16x slots though.
4) I've seen someone with a quad-SLi setup in that case before so it is possible although you might not be able to use all the drive bays.

1) Hehe I just noticed that OC themselves are selling pre-built systems in their Ultima series which have a P5N-T Mobo with a tuniq tower. I think that answers question 1 ok then! yay
2) Looking at some review sites I have seen quite a few pics of the Tuniq tower mounted with plenty of space for Ram+heatsinks, thats looking fine also
3) So you mean mount the graphics cards in top and bottom and sneak the X-fi in between them? Hmmmm sneaky, do you reckon the Mobo come with an SLi bridge long enough to reach? (is that a silly question?)
4) Cheers, looks like the P182 should be quite adequate
