Yeah it's pricey, I dunno about that at all :( I liked it as I heard it was quiet (due to the single fan). What do you think?

Asus P8Z68-V pro. superb board mate.

Sounds like a good idea :) I can't see any different between the pro and non-pro versions though, the pages seem identical?

The main attraction is the 2GB RAM imo. However, I owuld take a cheaper 6950 2GB.

The good thing about that board is that it's nearly identical to the pro version. Except the extra SATA3 and USB3 ports, and I think a power on button on the motherboard. Even has bluetooth.

Another good board is the Asrock Z68 Extreme 4. A lil bit more expensive.

Shame you missed the 8GB HyperX for £40 by a few hours.

The TX650V2 is a great PSU. Also look up the Antec TruPower New 650.

Not a bad little upgrade for 600 quid :)

So many times I've got good gear incase I ever want to SLI and I never have! So hopefully I won't...

The cooler was recommended to me by a friend for being good and quiet. I said ok, we'll see.....

guess you didn't like the 6950 suggestions :)

Good suggestion, but I'd decided I wanted to move to Nvidia this upgrade for various reasons. Thank you anyway :)

I always order at the worst time as well... Order saturday night and have to wait til wednesday to get it! Damn weeekend and bank holiday :P

FYI That RAM is still 40 quid, I guess it will stay that price until the 'allotted units' go. Currently 57 left :)
