I used to love these as a kid 20-25 years ago. Picked one up a few days ago and we have all been on it for hours in the family. Been wanting to get a bit fitter so here you go...

It was £15 for the proper metal swingball and 2 bats. Nice cheap fun nostalgia. Kids should so get out more these days!!

I remember having one a few years ago. I think I got to rough with it as the ball came off and flew into one of the neighbours gardens.

Great fun though..

That damn thing used to annoy the hell out of me when I was younger.

Ball + 2 jumpers for goal posts + a few friends = hours of fun as a kid for me

I loved these as a kid! used to spend hours hitting it. Two problems though..

- Hit ball too hard and it would end up getting wrapped around the pole with the string.
- After a while the pole would make a big hole in the ground due to overuse and would sway all over the shop..

I had one of these.

One day, played against my old brother. Ended up getting smacked in the eye. :o

My nephew and niece in Canada have one of these so when i was there last summer...played with them...ended up giving my nephew a black eye as i whacked one time a bit too hard and he got excited but totally missed the ball and it smacked him straight in the eye...was funny as hell although he wasnt too pleased.
...got told off by my brother:(

Great fun though:p

I always found if you hit it at the wrong angle (not completely horizontally straight) it'd get caught on something and not swing properly :/

Ah swingball is great fun, we bought one this year as we use to have a lot of fun with it when I was a kid. Problem is I seem to get carried away and it normally ends up falling over as ive hit it too hard.
