dont get that mobo, its selling point is 2 x x16 lanes which can only be used in an sli setup, get a crossfire/ultra mobo or change the gfx card to an nvidia one
 
SLI can run an ATI card or 2x Nvidia Cards. But if you were planning to maybe add another ATI card. Then you want Crossfire.

i couldnt find another Fanless ASUS with similar specs, i heard that DFI Lanparty boards were harder for a novice overclocker to get running stable so i stayed clear of them.
I only intend to get 1x 1900xt since by the time i want to upgrade to 2 the 1900 will be out of date

Well, It was my first build and never asked over here... could have got much better for the amount I spent I know.

My first attempts to overclock was on an DFi SLi-D baord pretty easy tbh i doubt there will be any problums there is also guids on DFI Street forums if you get stuck.

All quality components. Stick with this spec. The DFI LanParty Ultra-D is a very good board.
