Hi All,

I have just purchased the below components and was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on rough limitations etc as im a noob to overclocking so please be nice. I have read quite a few guides but am getting a little confused...


Any advice or help will be greatly appreciated!!!

AMD 4800+
ZALMAN AERO FLOWER
150GB WD HD 10,000 RPM SATA 16MB Cache
Ultra X-Connect 500w PSU
DFI LanParty NF4 SLI-DR EXPERT
Thermaltake VA9000BWS KANDALF FULL TOWER
BFG GEFORCE 7900GTX 512MB GDDR3

I can't see any noticable limitations from the information you've given us.
What ram are you using?
 
Welcome to the forums :)

I would suggest taking a look at the Overclocking Sticky at the top of this page, make sure you've got the latest drivers + bios, keep an eye on temps and good luck :cool:

Take a look at the FAQ if you plan to stay aswell

That's a pretty nice setup you have there - no glaring problems at all.

One thing, as said above - what RAM are you using there? This can be a big thing if your planning on OCing.
 
welcome to the forums, give the man a chance. Trust me "MOST" of the people here are nice and dont moan.

you should have no problems overclocking at all. U will have to ask others for more exact figures.

edit - dont worry about the ram, you can runn a divider and run the memory slower than the chip. It wont make a slightest difference. :)
