oh yes i have finally managed to get myself a new toy.

a 1991 yamaha Fzr1000 exup ru

and theres no doubt about it ....its testicle shatteringly fast........

Have you cut the rubber area out of the restrictor to put it to 145hp from 125?

ive no idea if it has been done or not.....but it has an art can and has been rejetted to allow it to breathe correctly.....its been on a dyno to be set up right according to the guy ive just bought it off of ...so ii assume any simple mods like the inlet restrictors have been cut out yes.

Looks great, but bikes scare me I frighten myself enough in a 175bhp car, never mind something as quick as that.

Looks in fantastic condition for it's age. Wasn't that one of the first yam's to use the deltabox?

FZR1000 was the first deltabox. Remember seeing it at Earls Court bike show all them years ago and thinking wow.
Plus Exup made its debut on the old Genesis as well.
They still look a decent bike after all these years.
Engine is a peach as well, esp if its had the inlet rubbers "modified" as mentioned.
