My New Toy

Wow! Congratulations mate, that is going to be on very, very fun and quick car!

Just had a peep at your profile and noticed the comment

"I'm boring and will own a Honda S2000 one day :D"

I imagine this will satisfy that need now!

yeah, the S2000 has always been a dream, but >£2k insurance even at 23 kinda puts paid to that. I figured a westy would be more fun, as well as the benefit of around £400 insurance!

I thought it looked familiar. Yeah I've known Graham for years, I didn't know he was sellling up though.

It's a very nice car and he's a very sensible lad. I was more impressed with how well it stopped than how fast it went, it's mental.

People from this forum need to stop buying my mates Westfields. First Tom0 now you :D

Looks really nice, but please do something about the roll bar. I don't know why Westfield continue to sell that type of bar as it is purely cosmetic...

I actually like it, but i do relise that an RAC spec one would be much better. I'll give it a few moths though, let funds recover a bit :D

Each to their own :). If you like I could post some pictures and a story from a bloke who rolled a very similar car. The problem is that if it does go over then the bar just folds at the base and gives no protection what so ever.

Having said that I drove my Fury for a couple of months with a similar bar so I am not really in a position to comment...

You'll love it dude :)
Can't wait till my Indy is on the road, missed the westy since I sold it lol.
You can get struts to brace the rollbar, i'm planning on a braced rollbar or full cage to weld into my chassis atm.
