My new twin loop watercooled modded PC70!

there are no clips on the tubing so with persuation I can get them off the barbs reasonably easy, plus the reservoirs unclip from their housings and I can get them out of the case enough to put them over a bucket.

So basically i pull the res out of the case and pull one of the tubes off the barbs, drain it all out and the the whole top of the res unscrews and I fill it back up from there.

To be fair this was easier because the black is a lot darker than the pink that went before so it doesn't need to be religiously cleaned out so the draining can be less thorough. Mind you a bit of tilting will get all the liquid out easily once you've opened the loop up.

Hey matt, nice work.

Is that the Sunbeam Rheobus fan controller you're using? If so, how did you get the knobs off without damaging it so you could remount it? Also, how did you secure it to the inside of the case?

I'm planning on remounting my Sunbeam Rheobus in a blank lian li drive bay cover to make it fit in with the front. Also doing the led mod to it to make them dimmer.

Cheers!

honestly? I don't know! Case mods were done by my good friend welshtom who is no longer on this forum. He did the casemods, I did the watercooling :)

I'll have a look for you later on.

ok, I don't know how the knobs come off but the thing is mounted onto the front panel by removing the knobs, pushing the pins through 4 holes and putting the knobs back on, basically its held on by the knobs..

Ok, cheers. I wasn't sure if the knobs were strong enough to hold the pcb behind them but obviously they are. That's easy then :D

Following on from the fan controller thing, thought i'd show you what i've done with mine:

Sorry for rubbish pic

Fits in nicely :)

Is it just me or has no one noticed that both pumps changed from clear ones to black ones?

Great build would have liked more detail but it does look sweet n very inspiring! :D

yeah that was a switch from 2 alphacool tops to 2 EK tops because the alphacool ones meant the pumps couldn't sit side by side happily.

Thanks for the feedback, this case is going to be for sale shortly as I'm going to be going for an altogether more black build :)
