My next case :)

All down to personal preference I'd say.
Since you're asking for my opinion I'd also say, it's a very boring looking case for the price.

I'd go for something way more stylish like the NZXT Phantom or Cooler Master HAF.
Something that people can go woah, at if you know what I mean.

But Lian-Li are good quality cases, but personally i'd do a big look around before buying :)

I like the look of the new Lian li. One thing I'm worried about is the lack of cable management. The hard drive mounts look like the cables won't be routed through the back behind the motherboard tray, and there are only two small routing holes to the right hand side of the motherboard.

Also there are no top fans on the roof of the case. I love aluminum cases and I'd love a Lian Li but they always seem to miss the boat in terms of air cooling and cable management.

Best case I have used to date for cable management is the Nzxt Phantom, you would struggle to make it untidy :D

Looks a bit too much like a hot-rod for my taste but to each their own

I cant argue with that I tend to prefer square black cases (like the haf x) but as I said got this on the cheapie, but now that I have it would with out a doubt have paid full price for it, and the shape has kinda grown on me.

I now have 8 fans in this unit (extra one due to push pull and the case temp is around 15 deg.

Yeah I read good things regarding the phantom, easy to built in and good cooling . I like the look of my Fractal R2 but in my opinion the quality is a bit naff, especially the plastic door. I want something similar to the R2 with all the fan mounts and a door but higher quality like a lian-li. Unfortunately they don't make anything that seems to be good at cooling and they never have enough fan mounts :(

You don't need n+hundred fans for good cooling... except maybe in open cheese graters totally lacking any kind controlled laminar airflow.
There's nothing in your PC which wouldn't be cooled by A71F unless component coolers themselves screw the airflow.

I see what you are saying but top fan mounts are a must to remove hot air when your rear fan is used as an intake on a Corsair H-50. Basically the Lian mentioned at the top of the thread wouldn't take a H50 properly as the three intake fans are 140mm, there are no roof fans and only one rear fan mount in the motherboard area of the case.

For a 400 quid case you really should have ALL the options available to the system builder.

There is another rear fan, in the top chamber.

This would exhaust air if you used an H50 with the mobo area rear fan as an intake.

Yep, both the A70F/71F feature 2 x 120mm fans, the topmost one sits behind the 3 bay hdd caddy. There are also top panels available for the A71F with pre cut holes for mounting three additional 120mm fans or a triple radiator.
