whats wrong with the SD 3700+???
isn't it a bit early to be looking for a new cpu?
a 3700+ to a 3800+ isnt a great step forward - in some cases it could even be a step back - depending on how much use the particular applications you use make use of the second core!
Maybe its just me - but I dont see the point in that particular "upgrade".....
What is it that you do that you feel the need for something better? Maybe dual core would be a big difference for your particular usage?!?!
Or do you just have an uncontrollable desire to spend some money?

I wouldnt bother either.
maybe if you were going to the x2 4400 with more cache.
the 64 3700 @2.7ghz (in your sig) is more than capable at this present time
