question in the title. im going to sell it for a lg nexus. if i factory reset it, it wont brick the phone will it?

Brick it, no. Reset may remove the SU app, but the root will more than likely persist. If you want a stock phone flash a standard firmware and reset the bootloader firmware counter, it may be showing a non stock count.

Best way of doing this would be to use ODIN to flash a stock firmware and use Triangle Away to reset the flash counter as mentioned above.

I don't care about the root issue tbh but I'm just worried about bricking the phone. Well if it doesn't brick then that's fine
