I sold my Suzuki GT550 in around 1996 and I have checked on it occasionally and it is still being Taxed - checked for MOT but it doesn't need one as it's over 40 yrs old.
New in 1976 then around 1996 I sold it with 13k on clock - I bought it in 1977 with 7k on clock and stopped riding it in 1984 - That was about time wife refused to go out on it again as we were knocked of the commuter bike (Honda 200cc twin) by some little snotty kid who just ran across road in front of us -fortunately we were only doing about 25mph.
I do wish I had kept it but I always found it a pig to ride -Top heavy and I have short legs.

To be really honest I wish I still had my 1955 Triumph T110.

That's great. I often check my old cars and find the same.

If you really regret selling the T110 then maybe look at a modern T100 or T120? Ok it won't be quite the same but it will be reliable.

Hades

I am too old for bikes now -OAP electric mobility scooter for me next - Two new ones in the road - I might be third - we can have a race round to shops then,

I wouldn't like the Suzuki back again - it handled worse than my 1955 Triump T110 -Very top heavy for me.

I come on here to dream of what was.
