My old Saitek Eclipse 1 is on its way out need something new

As per the title relay my trusty Eclipse 1 has gone all funky and is unstable pretty much. I need something new and cheap ish at around the £20 mark keeping in mind I play a lot of FPS games and WoW.


Other options after having a quick look on the net seem to be Microsoft SideWinder X4 and the Saitek V5 (which looks the same as my old Eclipse 1 ) both at around £35 quid.

Anyone else changed from a Eclipse 1/2 keyboard recently as I be interested to hear what you got as well.

PS I liked the Eclipse 1 for its no frills and very solid design & construction

My G11 cost me about £20, but they are hard to find now. To me the X4 looks to be the next best thing, but if you liked your Eclipse go with the V5.

I thought about the G11 but I wasn't very keen on the keys on my friends G15, prefer abit softer keys, and I would like to stick with it for as long as my old keyboard which is getting on 5 years
