My overclock isn't holding

I've been running my E2160 at 3 to 3.2GHz for about a year. But the last few days, it's been having problems posting. It starts, stops, starts, stops, starts and then finally posts with my FSB set back to default.

Would this be a problem with my CPU or motherboard? The only hardware change I've made recently was swapping from DDR2 to DDR3 memory, could that be straining the memory controller too much? I've tried raising the VDimm with no success.

have you set the memory voltage/timings etc as required for the new memory ?

Try upping the NB volts a notch or 2. I used to have a P965-DS3P mobo which ran fine for months and then the OC would reset on some boots, upped the NB volts a notch or 2 fixed the problem.

NB volts are as high as I dare set them. And yes, memory timings and clock speed are correct.
