Iv got a Titan Goliath" Intel Core i7 920 2.66GHz @ 3.40GHz Quad Core DDR3 System but using cpuz my cpu as gone back to max 266 again instead of 3.40
Does anyone have any ideas how to get the cpu overclocked again i know its saved on the bios but just know how to get to it
Any help would be grateful
Thx

I've checked out the spec and it's a Gigabyte board. On my Gigabyte EX58-UD5 there is an option in the BIOS to 'Load BIOS to CMOS' where you can choose a profile. If you bought it overclocked, then you should have a OCUK profile. Just load this.

Enter the BIOS, and press F12 to load the o.ced profile again, then save and exit.

You haven't updated your BIOS or anything have you?

I done what you said and once i pressed f12 i had a few options one of them said ocuk profile so i pressed enter once i selected it but nothing happened
is pressing enter the correct key to load your profile in bios ?
And no i dont think iv updated my bios
Thx for help

Do you have eist or c1e enabled?

If you have, the board will downclock the cpu when their is no load on the cpu to save power.

no i'm having trouble loading it i pressed enter nothing seemed to of happened
am i doing something wrong once i select ocuk profile is it enter should press ?
