I reinstalled Windows 7 64bit and I updated everything. I used the same drivers I used before, which for 5 months worked perfectly. However, after reinstalling my Windows, my PC crashed and the monitor powered off. I pressed the reset button, but it would not reset. I had to hard-power it off. The crash occurs after 5min using Windows. I was not running any intensive programs, it was just idling.
I only used drivers from ASUS and Windows update, no other 3rd party drivers were installed.
I reinstalled my Windows again and it is working fine.
What could have caused this? Is it a sign that my motherboard or graphics card is dying?
Intel 3770K 3.5Ghz
16GB XMS 3 Corsair Ram
Sapphire AMD HD 7950 3GB
ASUS P8Z77-V motherboard
Samsung SSD 128GB
2TB Seagate HDD
Samsung Blu Ray drive
