Lately my pc has been randomly shutting off in random points in the day and the only way i can turn it back on is by draining the power from the pc and then turning it on. I'm suspecting that it might be my power supply but I'm not completely sure. Can anyone help please?

Does it happen under heavy load, or when it is running idle too?

How old is the PC?

I assume you've the checked the temps and all the fans are still spinning and stuff?

It is not super reliable/accurate, but you could have a look at the voltages in something like hwmonitor, to check there's nothing obviously wrong, e.g. they're not collapsing under load.

I got my pc about 2 years ago and it just happens randomly and yeah i've checked the temps and the fans but I'll give hwmonitor a go thanks.

Make sure that the power supply is properly connected to the wall outlet and that it is providing enough power to your PC. You can also check the power supply for any signs of damage or wear. If the power supply looks okay, then you should check the internal components of your PC. Make sure that all the cables are properly connected and that the fans are working properly. If everything looks okay, then you may need to replace the power supply.I hope it will be resolved
