My PC Is overlocked, yet it keeps unclocking/changing profile in the bios?

Saw your response in the other thread :)

Right, looking at your other thread you seem to be having failed boot issues, several things can course this.

one option could be a unstable overclock, the board can detect this by doing some strange restarting sequence.

Best bet is to reset the CMOS, You can do this by 2 ways, either the pc starts, pop into the BIOS and load the fail safe defaults option, or if the system refuses to start there is a option to short 2 pins on the motherboard, this is usually near the battery but the manual will show exact location, just use a screw driver to short these together.

I'd rather do the first one lol.

So should I just play it by here for now?

I mean my bios resets it's user and as mentioned in the previous thread. I thought my pc was dead ... So badly crapped my pants man.

If I were to reset my cmons would my overclock be gone?

I suspect your overclock has already reset and you running at stock.

Pop back into the BIOS and reload the saved profile, reboot and run Intel burn test link below, head towards the bottom of the post and just below the pay pal sign, run this on high setting and see what happens, if you get a BSOD then the overclock is unstable and you would need to contact OCUK as the system is under warranty.

I went back and reloaded it already as it reset.

On that link, which link do I click there is two.

If my Overclock is unstable, would I have to send my whole PC back to OCuk?

ran it no problems, my cpu temp went high and I done it on maximum.

Although, it said avaiable memory 6gb, I have 8gb ram?

hmm, that semi say that the overclock is stable!

Try doing some restarts and shutdowns, like: sleep mode, turn off and switch off at wall socket and see if you can get it to fail again.

Ocuk may talk to over the phone or post instructions what todo, it may be a simple case of adjusting the dynamic Vcore which puts a offset in on the vcore voltage. (check page 43 of the manual)
