My PC needs a few tweaks - need advice!

I have built the best and most expensive PC I have ever had.

My build has:

Fractal Design Define C TG Case
Tomahawk B450
Ryzen 2600
Sapphire Pulse Vega 56
Sandisk SSD 240GB and an ancient Samsung 500GB HDD

Now for the most part - I do not need to make any modifications, I am very happy with it.

However, my PSU is a Corsair VS 650. I bought this due to buying a decent Antec PSU from here (rebadged Seagate) not working twice and needed something urgently. I know this is a weak link and even though it is fine, was thinking about changing it.

I am using a stock cooler and have a CM Hyper Evo 212 that I could throw on, but was looking to make the case as silent as possible. So maybe a Be Quiet PSU of some sort and maybe some case fans to go with it.

Also an NVME 500gb drive might be a good option to boost the memory. 2-3 games and it is game over for the SSD!

Any tips or recommendation is appreciated.

NVMe drives have very little real world advantage in game loading times and you could get about doubled capacity SATA signaled SSD for the price of NVMe drive.
WD Blue 3D is the most affordable from higher level/DRAM cache equipped drives.

BeQuiet PSUs are seriously overpriced for only normal level warranties.
Makes me suspect they know something from accelerated aging tests, when they've failed to answer competition in warranty lengths.

As for CPU cooler Hyper 212 is basically normal level cooler.
Though Ryzen 2600 isn't hot CPU and graphics card's cooler has likjely more "noise challenges"...

Thanks for your reply. I would have thought the BeQuiet PSUs would have been a re-badged Seasonic with one of their quiet fans on? In the upper range at least, it's what a lot of manufacturers tend to do. I will have to do some research in this area obviously.

The quietness was more for when the computer was idle / browsing and working. When I am gaming, I'm not that fussed really.

cm 212 evo is a decent entry level cooler. better than the stock cooler from the 2600. i'd be looking to use the 212 instead of the stock cooler if you have that lying around (check you have the am4 mounting though).

the rest i'd just leave it alone. it isn't worth the money to sidegrade upgrade what you have

BeQuiet psu's for the most part are FSP built units with the lower end models built by HEC. I agree with EsaT's summing up of BeQuiet psu's, vastly overpriced with short warranties. Even their top end Dark Power Pro 11 1200W at £305 only has a 5 year warranty which is extremely poor seeing as much cheaper psu's from other manufacturers have longer warranties. Antec's Earthwatt Pro gold series have 7 year warranties and that's their cheaper range. The Seasonic Focus Plus Gold series has 10 years and the Prime has 12 years which goes to show how far behind BeQuiet are in terms of warranty. I only have one because it was a review sample. There are far more competitive and better psu's available. The Seasonic Focus plus gold series would be top of my list. I would be getting rid of that awful Corsair VS series asap. They are Corsairs budget range with bargain basement poor quality internals.
