My PC turns itself on

I shutdown my PC 40min ago and it turns itself on. What could be causing this?

This is my PC specs

CPU: i7 Intel 3770k
Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V
Memory: 8GB Corsair Vengeance
GPU: Sapphire AMD HD Radeon 7950 3GB OC edtion
700 Corsair PSU
Samsung Blu Ray drive
1TB Wester Digial HDD
256GB Samsung SSD
 
Wish my wife had that gift.

On a serious note, make sure you don't have an alarm set in the bios lol, the Gigabyte Z77 range has this in the bios, option to set the computer to turn on at certain times of the day/week/month/year.
 
Also check to see if the turn on from network or USB input function has been enabled in the BIOS.

If it is just a one off thing I would not be be too concerned about it.

Are you running Win8? Do you have a Cat!

I have a similar issue. However it seems that "Shut Down" in Win8 is more like Sleep, Tap the keyboard and it restarts!

It would appear that occasionally a certain Fat Furry Feline is padding the keyboard!
 
As suggested above, check Wake on Lan/Alarm/Keyboard/etc in the BIOS usually the issue.
