Hi

I was playing BFH normaly but yesterday and today when I wanted to turn the game on, it is fine when it loads in but when it is supposed to show the map. My screed goes black and my mouse and keyboard turns off. What might be the problem?

Would be better in general hardware, or one of the other hardware forums.

Could be all sorts.

Sounds like a graphics card problem, checked the temperatures? Are you over clocking your GPU? If so, get it all back to stock and try again.

Does any other game do this?

What are your system temps like also try removing any overclocks on the system.

Also what are your system specs?

No I am not over-clocking
World of tanks did that but it does not do it any more

my system specs:
I5 4690K
GeForce 970
8gb ram

how do I check the temperatures?

what should be the temperatures like

I have the following:
GPU 57degrees celcius
motherboard 35
processor is from 39 to 46

and power supply is CX750M

Looking ok, would like to see the gpu cooler - but in saying that a few models turn the fans off when not under load.

Run up a game and see full load temps.

Under load the cpu I prefer to see the cpu under 75c and the gpu under 80c

Hard to say, as its restarting it could be a blue screen issue.

Pop into the C drive and go to the Windows folder and scroll down to Mini Dump and see if any files have been written and see the date it was put there.

Things I would try:

Make sure you have the latest video drivers for the GF 970.

Run MemTest86 to see if any RAM is dodgy: http://www.memtest86.com/
(bit of a pain as you have to boot to it, but there are instructions on the site)

Install HWMonitor and check PSU voltages: http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html
(not a completely accurate measurement, but will at least show if something is seriously wrong with PSU)

Your temps look OK, so that's not the issue.
