I know I can't really advertise but just wanted to share my photo booth.

I got married last July and after seeing a huge Photo Booth at a Cheshire wedding fayre I decided I needed one for my wedding.

After a few months of research and ordering parts the build began. It was incredibly hard as people with photobooths don't like giving their materials, tips and secrets away. a lot of it was trial and error but we got there in the end. I decided to go down the standalone route which ultimately resulted in more issues but was worth it in the end as it takes up less space at a venue.

The response to it was amazing! I took it to my first wedding fayre a couple of weeks ago in Staffordshire and have since taken 5 bookings for weddings this year and have 2 pending confirmation.

Heres a couple of pics, I have a website and everything but probably not allowed to show that on here.

Here is a couple of shots from the booth.

The red curtain was from my wedding where I seemed to have a bit of light reflecting into the lens on my camera from the flash. I've since sorted that out though.

So have any of you used Photo Booths at weddings and parties? Anybody got one? Personally I think they are great fun, we provide prop boxes for the guests to muck about in. What do you think of them?

Can't see them having a massive life span so trying to hit the wedding fayre seasons this year while there is only one other booth to compete with in my county.

It's a little addictive to be honest, I'm already planning a mark 2, probably finished in a wood look or gloss black :)

Yep that's exactly what I offer raymond. Instant prints, two strips of 6"x 2" each with 4 photos on. We supply a guest book for the booth with glue and pens and the Bride & Groom get to take the book home along with a CD of all the images.

I know they passport style you are talking about. I just wanted something that would have a much smaller footprint as the sit down ones require around 3m x 2m.

I designed mine so that the curtain could be detached. I'm currently trying to work out how to have just a stand alone back drop and the side of the booth open. This will allow the hard background to be customised for corporate events etc.

However, its proving a little difficult coming up with something that isn't huge yet can't be knocked over easily!
