My Photoshop Creation Tonight

Nice one man! Im really enjoying creating / making graphics even the rubbish one which is my signature, lol
I designed it to be a marketing creative for the car instead of a generic scene. If you have in mind that it's to be looked and and desired by a customer, then it clearly shows the manufacture and model.
The handwritten font is to make it feel personal
It's a good effort.
A few pointers.
1) I'd expect a car promotion like this to be much more panoramic. Effectively your canvas isn't the ideal size. It's a very basic element of design but one that is often overlooked.
2) It looks like you've added on the photos, logo and text after designing the background. They don't integrate or complement each other. I understand you want them to stand out, but a more subtle effect is needed. To be honest, I'd drop the photos altogether, make the logo smaller and give it some blending.
3) Using handwriting to feel personal does work, but not if you've lumped it in with some Sans. Your text really contrasts and doesn't sit well in the frame. Try taking it off white and bring some of your other colour into it, maybe where you have the split gran/cabrio. Try making grancab bigger too and possibly split the phrase onto two lines so that it's justified.
4) The background works quite well, I'd say the left background mountain needs tweaking. It needs to be smaller as it currently detracts from the impression of distance. I'd bring the comet trail above the vignette too, which can act as a lead in to the piece.

thanks for the feedback. Referring to point 1 and 2, originally planning the design wasn't for car promotion however as it developed I liked the idea but at the time it was too late to design around the text which is why this doesn't fit into the composition as well. I agree with the contrast of the texts that it could be toned down a bit and making the text for Grancab slightly bigger. I'll continue to clean it up tonight as I posted it late night when I probably didn't have the best eye for picking out any faults. Was fun to make though

No problem. Throwing some music on and sitting infront of PS drawing whatever I wanted is how I learnt it. Keep at it, keep asking for critiques, keep trying new things.
I'm not ignoring this, I just can't advise. I've honestly never used a book or training software for it. Doing what Valk is doing is how I learnt. Hundreds of tutorials, take that, apply to what I want to do, rinse repeat.
