Hi,
Ive been shopping at overclockers for a while now but have only just joined the forums, I have decided to build my own system as its something ive always wanted to do, I am aiming for an entry/mid gaming pc that will also be used for everyday tasks occasionally too.
I will start by telling you my planned parts for the build, I am stuck between an i3 or i5 but thinking of going for the i5
Here goes:
CPU: Intel i3-6320 or i5-6600k
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z170XP-SLI
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo (if i5)
Memory: Kingston Fury Black 8GB 2666mhz or Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB 2666mhz (both DDR4)
PSU: Corsair CX500 (already have that in my old system)
Graphics Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 Nitro 380 4096MB GDDR5
Case: Zalman Z9 Plus Usb 3.0 (already purchased)
Already have an ssd to go in along with any drives etc
Alls I would like to know is if that looks an ok build to someone with experience and whether in your opinion its worth me spending the extra on the i5 over the i3 for gaming, I don't do a lot of sim games, the only modern game I am looking to play at the minute is Dirt Rally
Are there any parts you would change, like the graphics card? id seen online that the radeon is better than the NVidia equivalent which I think is the 960 if I remember correctly, would any bottlenecking occur?
Thanks for any help
