My account kept getting hacked, I phoned up a few times to get my account back because they change my email and changed my password everytime but it still kept getting hacked.

my email has mobile authetication so I know they havn't hacked my email.

Now I've set up mobile authentication and i'm getting sick of the texts for verification codes to change my password!

how can I stop them getting on my account even tho the password keeps getting changed because the txts get really annoying when they wake me up early in the morning...

Can you change your email address connected to your account? Guessing that without knowing the email address to the account, they can't try access it?

its email address I use for everything, I know they cant access it but I wouldnt want to change my email is there any other solution?

I wouldn't assume so. If they keep inputting the same email address on each attempt, you will continue to get them. So you would have the best luck by changing your email address. Otherwise you are simply just hoping one day they give up and stop trying to get access.

That's providing what I say is correct :p someone may know a different way but I can't think of one.

As Spacedeck points out, regardless of what the service is, your email address is a unique identifier to your account, so you could either temporarily change it so that whomever is trying to reset your account no longer has this unique identifier, or mute your phone until they get bored.

You could enquire from Sony as to whether they block ip's that are trying to hack into your account - although if it's someone who knows what they're doing, they'd likely be spoofing their address anyway.

On another note, have you verified any of the devices you use are clear from viruses/malware etc?

before I had the mobile authenticator my account got hacked and email got changed, so i had to phone them up to give me my account back to my email and change the password.

day after it got hacked again the same way, so i did a full reinstall of windows thinking I had something bad on my pc,then I phoned them up to get my account back again and put a new password on.

Then the day after my account email had been changed again and thats when I put the phone authenticator on.

I dont know how they could log on my account

I think this maybe your issue. I would recommend using a password manager, 1 Password / KeePass etc, and then making a new email account purely for PSN and storing this email/pass combo in the manager so its always there.

You may want to check your email address on https://haveibeenpwned.com. As above, I have about 5 different accounts for various things and all use strong passwords that are kept safe on LastPass.

Oh and what ever you do, don't reuse passwords! If they crack open one account, they can access all the others with the same password.

Are there security questions for your account? I don't have a playstation account so don't know - but normally there's some form of password/account reset where you'd answer a set of questions. Perhaps whoever's trying to obtain your account knows the answers to these - might be worth changing them if that's the case.

And? That is great once two step verification is enabled. Some sites only ask you to confirm the new email address once changed. They don't need access to your emails. But if you have the same password for every website, if they find / know your PSN email / password combination, they will use that to access other websites. Just don't reuse passwords and always use two step verification when you get the chance. Also don't forget to create more email accounts :p.

thanks ill keep that in mind for the future :)

I once had the same passwords for all my things (years back, computer noob) and they hacked my WOW account. After this all they did was hack my email and they had a list of every site I was affiliated with. That was not a good week to say the least.

I now use lastpass (its free, although there is a premium version) and I have a 2 little books where I keep one half of a pass in one and other half in the 2nd (no important ones though), just in case I can't get last pass up, which hasn't happened yet.

Is it definitely a password reset text you're getting? If you have a PS3 and haven't created an device password then it will send you a text every time your PS3 turns on telling you to do this (ie. every day if you have it set to do auto-updates).
