so, it's not very well, my little laptop. With both cores at 100%, it won't charge and gets roasting hot. Took it into Apple and they put £700 of new parts in it - still the same problem. So now it's got to go back in tomorrow. This is the third mechanical breakdown in my first year of having it - I'm sure I've seen somewhere that this means I should get a new one?
Anyone with Macbook Pros, could you do me a favour? Drain your battery down to under 90%, plug it in to charge, bust open 2 terminal tabs and run the following command:
yes > /dev/null
(you can kill the process by closing the tab it uses, or hitting ctrl-c, or whatever). If your charge isn't affected, could you let me know please? If it is, take your laptop to Apple as it's poorly.
