Some people may not like this, but its now blue on the inside and gonna be white on the outside, and its just boggy basic halfords paint im afraid :( pics of the paint job shall follow! :)

getting quite excited, all the stuff come tomorrow *jumps up and down* , then all i will have left to do is the outside panels

heh, i understand. I've been waiting for a month for my next pay packet (wednesday) so i can take all my current components out of their boxes and actually build something! Case should be here for the weekend i hope. Been watching this thread with interest!

Those sprays from Halfords are superb. I have used Satin black on my exterior as you probably have seen and the finish is very impressive.

It looks quite good, once you get all the parts in it'll break up the blue. The outside colour is much more important as they'll be nothing to break that up. *BUILD DAY* :D I'm going to begin packing the long list of items: spanner, lighter fluid, soldering iron and so forth :)

BeatMaster :D

hmmm did you prime it? :(
yeah it had 3 coats of primer, i had a look at it this morning and its warming to me *thank god* anyways the whiite panels should break it up

Cya at 4!! Im off into town to gets the last bits and bobs! Phoned city link to make sure they phone before they run off and take my package back to the depot!

You should only need to do a very quick dust coat of primer. Sand down the surface roughly and then just one quick coat, like the first coat of paint just very fine and brief.

looking nice you using any cold cathodes/uvs in there iv been planning a mod job for ages now but the painting has allways put me off but i think after seeing yours and mishimas work i have the confidence to give it a go good work keep it up

looks nice, first things first.. lose the stickers please! they're a bit naff, second are you pumping straight into your res? I don't know which way the inlet/outlet of your pump is, I always use ddc12v pumps.

no biggy if you are other than it might make the system a bit noisy.

Otherwise looking good! welcome to water!
