Just finished making my rally video, after my trip to Bournemouth to see the Sunseeker rally, was an excellent weekend and filmed some great stuff, so check out my video at

http://www.mia-media.co.uk/videopage/live_rally.html

From there you can either stream it at 500k a second and 320x240 or download a 640x480 version which plays at 1.8mb a second, both are wmv format

edit/ added website link

Where did you film it from, what stages?

You didnt happen to see a mad photographer who nearly got splatted by crashing cars on a corner...that was me!! :p

EDIT: Seems most was wareham forest possibly?? (or another stage i missed which looks like it!!), shame there isnt more sideways action tho, bit dissapointed by that. Pretty good effort tho, nice one :)

Most of it was at Wareham forest, which was stage 4, I think I also watched stage 8 (Mount Ararat) and think it was possibly stage 12 (Staplehill) too. I got there Friday night so saw the night rally in Bournemouth but didnt look very good on camera so didn't put it in the vid. The part where my car is stuck in the mud is where I illegally parked at night and camped in the car lol, which is the reason for me blurring the number plate :D

cool vid, whats the music playing?

Its by Craig Armstrong, I think the song is called escape and is in the theme music to Plunkett and Maclane I think.

I've just changed the link to my website, so you can now either stream the video or download it.

Awesome video the tractor pulling the escort is quality :D :D

Yeah it was pretty fun at the time too, especially as the guy driving the tractor was a really stereotypical farmer, I think we called him Farmer Joe, he was a laugh, we were going to tow my car out with the Subaru again but he came running over begging us to let him do it with his tractor lol

Sunseeker rally = fantastic. been several times (as I used to live in Poole where Sunseeker is based) and every year used to go down and watch. Even Dorset police are entering with a Police scooby :)

roll on next year
