I was going to return my ram to work because they had sold me ddr 800 but its actually 667 in the box. However when I handed my one months notice in (on friday)they terminated my contract with immediate effect and out the building I went so I cant change it now. Anyway do you think ddr 667 (333) will push on much further than 400? Ive just dropped my multiplier on the cpu and Im pushing that as far as it can go, but my memory is at stock 333 at the moment.. Any ideas and advice to ram clocking? I have an 80mm fan positioned above my ram to be safe :)

Cheers guys

Its kingston value ram 2 x 1 gb 667 sticks.

I think I finally got the hang of this motherboard.

I actually managed to push it to 502 fsb but became very unstable. I even had 2.20v runnning through it. Random reboots, wirelesscard not working etc. I backed off........I was just jumping in 2 feet first. I realise that was a rather large overclock.

How do you guys go about it? Would an increase to say 430 be ok or a little higher or lower?

Also I'm back at 400 now but the timings are loose, Im not sure what to try any ideas?

Heres the current ones: 5-6-6-18-24-2t

Cheers

Try 5-5-5-15 at 400mhz. If that doesn't work then I'd drop the speed til 5-5-5-15 is stable, then add a bit more voltage. I wouldn't go over 2.1v with the memory. It's probably rated at 1.8v and may not be designed to handle much more.
