WOW that looks like a seriously big case - I like though.

In the first pic, is that an adult standing next to the case, it looks like it's over waist-height!! :p

Can you turn the blue LED off on the front if required, looks a bit bright, but that could just be the photo?

I think it's more likely to be his daughter

Ontopic, that is a really really nice case. It does look massive too. I like the little bling light at the front :p

The light on the front can just be unplugged. Its really quite bright on my 01.
I was planning on pulling it apart and replacing it with green or red LEDs.

Wonder what the temps are like? and if it is noisy as it looks?

zia

The 01 only had 2 of the 180mm fans at the bottom but it was still cool and much quiter than my 690 was, even though I upped my CPU fans to 1900rpm's.
Temps were also slightly cooler (before i changed fans).

Bold move for the manufacturer to do a case with a very different layout like this, I do like the way how they have implemented good air cooling into a normal sized case, I sure would not have thought of this, I would expect it to be a good cooled case with heat rising, but if only they made some kind of a cover even if it was just for the wires on the top to keep it neater, but if its underneath a desk then it doesn't matter, besides my observations of the case itself, good clean looking build mate wohoo :D.

looks nice, how is the v-shaped light on the top of the case powered ? that's the only thing i don't like about this case.

thanks.

Their is a cover that slots over the top, the end frame that you can see on one of the pictures is where all the wires are supposed to be routed.

It was a simple Molex 4 pin connector on the 01 - wouldnt have thought theyd change it.

But how did you get a hold of one?

They are available in the UK from competitors.

nice layout much better than the raven 1

now to wait for the FT02 :P

edit btw whats holding the psu in place ;/ bar 4 screws & some velcrow

so i assume you could undervolt all three fan without compromising in cooling? what speed does the inbuilt fan controlle dropsr the fans too?
also looking at the hd cage looks like you carn't remove hd cage without it touching the motherboard.?

Case being more quiet as CM 690 isn't hard because of CM being so leaky.
And overal design of these Ravens is at least semi-quiet... but blowing it all out from roof just means noise of exhaust being directed lot more towards user.

But if you consider 1900rpm aircraft in takeoff as quiet in anykind computer (not special noise insulation) case then you're as qualified to call something quiet as colour blind to judge paintings.

Most people who use this size of case would have it under a desk so blowing out the top wouldnt make much difference.

And you, as someone who cannot hear my 1900rpm fans (not aircraft, im pretty sure their props rotate in excess of 5000rpm - whilst igniting fuel generating an extreme amount of thrust. Anyone who compares a fan to a jet engine should be considered clincally deaf.) knows exactly how loud they are ?
Didnt think so.

I was looking at this case just yesterday but cant seem to find anywhere with stock - perhaps I havent searched hard enough but have only come across one competitor that has it for pre-order

Have made the suggestion to OCUK to stock it
