My reaction time is rubbish (cognitive tests)

Mmm ok if I write off the reaction test the remembering patterns sequence one I find hard ,numbers easy.
My long term memory is almost a superpower but it's the short term that I worry about and the implications of that

OK i think in my post, fueled by red wine optimism i was hoping for a few comparisons ,ie i just did the numbers test and got 13 numbers ect ect ect
in the background its also a general worry about my losing all my marbles, i don't say this phrase disrespectfully to anyone with dementia in the family
As regards meat my plant protein intake is great, however i don't mind other concerns omega 3 ect being brought to my attention (i do take algie tablets)
edit Maybe wine is the obvious one if i am being honest 20 to 30 units a week

Even without supplementation you are unlikely to be suffering this as a result of your diet as so many foods are fortified. Ignore the preachy lot
but go get a blood test if you are concerned.

30 units of alcohol a week could indicate a problem. It’s almost certainly impacting your quality of sleep which will directly affect your reaction times. Having seen you mention it a few times, it seems you may think you have a problem with alcohol. It’s a hard pill to swallow but if you want to chat about it you can drop me a PM.

Well i am subscribed to the on the wagon thread and insomnia thread so checks out ,i had a general blood test and that was ok ,i never ever sleep right through but wake many times after 3am

My sequence one is really bad but the number one i can do an 8 block and then remember the shape of another block if that makes sense like a m+ in a calculator
