O.k I decided to have another go to punch up from a Orthos Stable 3.2 to 3.6. I'm using 1.55V Vcore....is this to much? Speed fan posts as 1.50V. Maxium CPU temp 58c, maxium on Cores 1 and 2 63c (Asus Silent Knight air).
Gaming is stable, and 3D Mark 06 I pull another 400 brownie points with my new overclock but my system isnt Orthos stable. Any ideas how I can improve this? I doubt I can give it more Vcore? Ram volts are 2.1 on 4GB OCZ PC6400 @ 800MHZ 4-4-4-12, the timings are tighter could this be my issue (though these are the same timings and volts as used with 3.2GHZ).
Thanks for looking ;)

Well I have a similar system to you and have just clocked up to 3.5Ghz orthos stable, not tried 3.6 yet as just happy I got there in the end and don't wanna bugger it all up. :)

My settings are:-

389 FSB x 9
5-5-5-15 on the RAM (not the best but it all works great)
1.50v vcore
2.0v RAM
NB 1.4v i think, can't remember. :)

Max temps under orthos are 60-62 under full load (coretemp) and around 29 idle.

O.k Ive pumped the Volts up to 1.57 bios showing 1.54v in speed fan and got my rigg stable. Temps are a little high though, what you think. 68c under orthos load. Am I o.k with these temps and volts?

Those temps seem fine, in real world tasks, games etc you will probably not put as much load as with orthos, so you will probably not hit those temps.

I can agree with that really, I've got 3.06Ghz and mine hits 68c on high load (Orthos). Never above 60c when gaming though, so it's fine.
