Hi there my setup is struggling with 1080p files. When playing them it buffers and the playback is VERY jerky.

What are the files encoded with .x264? .h264?

What media player are you using to play them back with and what codec is that player using to accelerate the playback?

You need to be sure your media player is set up correctly and is offloading the files for the iGPU to accelerate and it's not stuck using the CPU which is not able to cope with that kind of workload.

I had my Asus E45m1-I Deluxe playing back 10gb 1080p rips with only 4gb of ram and in win7 using XBMC with no issues.
