Hi guys,

Thought I'd post my first setup here. My girlfriend and I have just bought our first house, after a month of gutting the place and starting again its been quite stressful but now we can sit back and enjoy our work.

The lounge consists of:

42" Panasonic TH42PX70PED
Samsung HT-X200R 2.1 cinema system
Sky+
PS3
Xbox 360
HP NC6400 Laptop

A Wii will be added at Xmas too :)

Really happy with the setup, had planned for 5.1 system but because we like to listen to music we thought it would be more wise to get a 2.1 system. The sound of the Samsung unit is superb and the sub is extremely bassy which I like :)

One of the spare bedrooms consists of another 360 (my girlfriend and I both own one)

The room consist of:

32" Toshiba TV
Xbox 360
Toshiba 2.1 cinema setup
Gamecube

Nothing special but does the job :)

Hope you like..

Hi guys,

Thanks for the replies!

The wallpaper was bought from my girlfriend, I asked here where but I can't remember where from!! I will ask her again tomorrow and post on here.

Unfortunately Bennah you can only have one side open at a time, a bit annoying but you can actually still actually control all units with the glas closed which is good!

Should've got a stereo integrated amp + mini bookshelf speakers

Well maybe, but considering I can't really find a fault with this setup I'm using I'm not bothered :D

The music I like is usually very bassy so maybe for someone who wants real crisp sounding music they'd choose a different setup.

Thanks for the replies again :)

Hopefully when HD becomes more mainstream on different channels I'll upgrade to that also, I love how Sky Sports Footy looks like in HD!

would you say its pretty much as good as CRT for gaming? motion-wise

Er yeah, I think its fantastic. I honestly can't fault it, my 32" LCD is pretty poor in comparison.

Couldn't recommend it enough :)

I can do some 'home' vids of it if you wish?

that would be cool if recording it works, thanks!

i like the idea of the PX70, if it can handle divx/SD as well as hi-def gaming i'd be happy to buy

also, what about image burn/retention?

As with any plasmas I did notice some screen 'burn' after playing 700 odd games of PES, the score card could be seen if you looked really close on a black screen. I can't see it at all now, it was something I worried about first but people advised me it was nothing to worry about, they were right.

Any news on where your missus got that wallpaper from.

Im after some black wallpaper with a patern on it just like that for my room.

Hope its not too expensive though. Found some the other day but it was £18.99 a roll :p

Dude, I'll find out, she's just popped out to buy us some tea!! It was expensive though, like £30/£40 a roll!

I want the rug too :D

I can't name the competitor on here! Its a catalogue store though :)
