If i was spending £130 on mobo i'd get x38 one. Any reason why you going for 32bit vista not 64bit? You know you'll only be able to use 3.5gb ram as 32bit os can only use 4gb total between ram and gpu.
Otherwise its good.

get an 8800gtx. they are better than the 9800gtx's and cheaper too. :)

check the deals ocuk have on this weekend. you'll need to be quick.....

the entire 4 gb can be used in a 32 bit windows by enabling physical address extension in whatever version of windows you are using, so vista 32bit isnt a problem. its not the same as seeing a proper 4gb in vista 64 but it is better than ~3.5ishgb you would othewrwise see.

also the gfx card 8800gtx are better, just overclock it slightly and you'll get 9800gtx performance. the memory bus on the 9800gtx is also smaller than the older 8800gtx. so id recommend the 8800gtx. newer isnt always better!

Looks like a nice rig there Gazza :). One suggestion, agreeing with bayo000, would be to get an X38 motherboard like the Asus Maximus Formula which I have. Runs like a dream and have had no problems overclocking with it.

On another note, I just upgraded to the G.Skill RAM you have listed above, it won't let you down.

Hello Gazza33, I would have to agree with marc2003, the Nvidia 8800GTX is a better overall card than the Nvidia 9800 GTX and is also slightly cheaper.

I would also get the 64-bit version of Windows Vista Home Premium. As well as being able to address all 4GB of RAM that you are looking at purchasing, it is a faster, securer and a much more stable platform to be using.

I am actually very concerned about compatability issues with Vista 64 bit. I have third party programs that I use which I dont believe will work with 64 bit.

I thought 32 bit was more tolerating of programs and hardware?
