My slight regret

Sooo i purchased and built a new rig with the Corsair 500D SE last week. Fantastic case, very beautiful but my regret is that i did not get the 1000D instead as cable management for the 500D was a nightmare especially with all the fans, rbg and the glass door is kept shut by magnets so any cable that slightly sticks out stops it.

I've only just discovered the 1000D. Can't send the case back due to all the plastic protection being taken off and the hassle involved with dismantling etc.

Did you buy from OCUK? If so, and ordered online a week ago, I think you are entitled to return it. Although it's not in the spirit of things!

Honestly, the 1000D is a massive case for most builds, more so if not going custom loops. Kind of sounds slightly weird on the 500D in that case, but plenty of cases around the 500D's size and budget without those issues which could handle most builds fine rather then jumping right upto the 1000D

Same reason I sold my 570x was gutted and having no room to manage the cables I sold it and bought the new phantek evolved x.

He's entitled to inspect it, not use it for a week and then return it!

It's built now, not like you'll have to do it every day! Just enjoy it man and use it as God intended (no not that, take it out of your hand!)
