How much are you prepared to spend?
Sounds like speaker's power supply, or likely its capacitors, are on their way out...
If you want good sound quality standard PC speakers aren't good.
Certainly if you can afford them, "monitor" speakers would be actually aimed for sound quality.
(though for most gaming stereo speakers just suck in immersion)
