my specs! is there a chance of a bottleneck?

ssd - crucial m4 250gb

ram - Corsair Value 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C9 1333MHz Low Voltage Dual-Channel Kit 8gb in total

psu - corsair hx850

cooling - corsair h100i closed loop

RAM and try overclocking your i7 2600K. Shouldn't be too hard to hit 4.5GHz on that MSI GD65 board.

Definitely go for at least 8gb 1666MHz RAM for ample performance

I personally wouldn't bother going to Z77 as your CPU won't support PCI-E 3.0. That RAM looks good so may as well upgrade to 8GB as it's so cheap right now.

Your current power supply is fine too (assuming it's all working fine), no point in getting the Seasonic 860W.

Just grab some 2x4GB 1600MHz RAM and get overclocking.

Maybe upgrade monitor/peripherals as the system doesn't need changing.
