Don't know why I didn't go RAID 0 SSD sooner..... Best £90 ever

Windows drive : 2x Kingston V300 SSD's in RAID 0

Games drive : 2x Samsung F5 HDD's in RAID 0

Quite a difference!

SSDs in RAID 0 I'd do, hard drives never though. Too high a risk of failure.

I agree HDs in raid 0 - just scary unless you have a really good backup.

Lets say a disk has a 10% chance of failure in any given year.

Chance of losing all your data (without backup) is: 19% or basically 1 in 5. Just too high for a very rarely needed speed improvement.

Be careful ! And put a backup regime in place !

Given that RAID of HD's is only 1TB I would consider mirroring it to a 1TB drive. Or just use a 1TB
