Can't find a thread on this so apologies if there is infact one already.

Quite an interesting game, simple but complicated at the same time, from building the engine from scratch, tweaking components of your vehicles and managing food, sleep, etc.

Quite a few jobs and locations to visit, to make cash for upgrades.

Anyone else playing? I was reluctant at first but I am quite hooked.. and sleepy in game.

Only thing that annoys me is permadeath. Eh, mac's mac, he likes a whinge.

In fairness to him, it does look like an absolutely cack game, but does also look like it could be a bit of fun as a time killer perhaps. Many other things I'd rather play though!

Macs review put me totally off of it - it seemed to be popular on Steam at the time, but it looks so boring when you watch gameplay videos of it :/

Yeah the vids put me off a lot, but thought "ah sod it" and bought it, now i'm quite in love.

Fantastic game, takes some getting into and is quite buggy at times but im hooked now.

There are three buttons dedicated to swearing in My Summer Car, because it is the greatest.

There's no mini-map in My Summer Car, because of course there wouldn't be something so approachable. Instead there's a print-out on the wall of your shack at home that you're free to memorise.

Sat in the pub just now and my fatigue was red, I'd arrived in the sewage truck to do a job and sat in the pub drinking beers and eating food as the shop was shut, no where but home to sleep.

Can't get petrol because the shop shut at 8pm and opens at 8am. Put a few sausage and chips in the truck at the back and drive home, go to take the food out.. and they are not there..

Bugger.

You can get gas even when the shop is closed, ill just say those switches on the wall in the backroom do stuff
