Arrgh I kerbed one of my Superleggeras today! They were mint before this. I have put about 10 cm worth of scuffs right round the edge of the rim! How much am I looking at for repair? Who would you reccommend? Chips Away? Wicked Wheels? anyone else? :( :( :(

If they are in 4x108 15" fitment I'll take them off your hands if they make you so sad ;)

Seriously, how deep are the scratches, you are lucky in that Superleggeras have a lip that can be evenly grinded down and made look like new again. You are unlucky that Superleggeras are quite soft and kurb very easily.

Hmm not very deep really..... Its like I've grazed the surface.

They are 18" and I will be selling them soon but as they seem to be quite saught after, I want to sell them mint (which they were about 3 hrs ago!) as I think I'll get some good money for them.

If its just surface scratches, use any reputable company and you should be fine :)

You will get good money for them, I nearly bought some second hand last week for the price I could have got some brand new last year.

See the thing is, on something like an alloy its quite easy to get a optically perfect finish because its not a huge flat panel. Infact a lot of people get very good results from doing them themselves, but any local bodyshop should be able to do a very good job. Often having a chat with one of the guys in the bodyshop will let you know if they are worth using or not.
