My Surface for Windows RT Review

I've been using the preview for so long now it's almost impossible to remember what it was like before, but I distinctly remember thinking IE11 was quite a bit more responsive at the time even with factoring in 'fresh install' illusion.

8.1 definitely freshens the whole experience up, there is no doubt about that.

8.1 seems a lot faster on the Surface RT, going to install the RTM in a moment.

8.1 x86 isn't on my dreamspark yet =/.

Got one of these at work for the CEO. Be interesting to get 8.1 on it and see the diff!

W8.1 is on Technet now, as I am just downloading it. Its only in x86 and x64 versions.

It seems the display driver is the same as the one included in the preview, I hope they release a new one that is WDDM 1.3 compliant soon.
