Hi all

Thanks in advance for any helps and pointers.

My current system as it stands is:

NZXT S340 case with an NZXT Hue+ for some bling
i5 6600k cooled by an Artic Freezer 7
Asus Z170p board
Hyper X Fury DDR4 2 x 4g
MSI HD7950 Twin Frozr III
all powered off an EVGA 650w G2 Gold 80+
Asus VS248HR 24inch monitor
SSD for boot
SSD for games
HDD for everything else (backups provided for offsite)

Built originally to play Stranded Deep, iRacing and Euro Truck Sim 2. The GPU was leftover from my first build and does the job in these games. The screen is cheap but for me is perfect.

I am thinking of expanding to three of the screens so I can play iRacing and Euro Truck Sim 2 with three screens to open up the games more.

I only play at 1080p and do like the settings on high. For other games I tend to stick to my Xbox One I prefer sim type games on the PC.

with an upgraded GPU i may move to Dirt on the PC so I can use a Fanetec handbrake as standalone.

I know I need to change out my GPU for sure. Would more Ram assist me too, was thining of another 2 x 4g as this is a cheap addition to my box.

What would be your suggestions in terms of a GPU to make 3 screen ETS2 and iRacing happen or is it not as simple as that? I would say my budget is £375 without VAT as I do not pay VAT.

if the budget doesnt include 2 extra screens then this should do, supports 5 monitors(need to look at spec sheet to see what those options are), is essentially the 480 and would do what your asking, should run those games no problem and given the board supports 64gb memory and as 16gb be enough you could run in dual channel and add extra if need be or if your current 2x4gb are the same speed then you could include them, 24gb be ore than enough, but if you can then why not eh.

My basket at Overclockers UK:

or if you wanted something from nvidia and also a quad ram kit then this should do you also, multi-view option states 4, so your covered for what you want and the 1060 should have plenty of grunt for the games, a 1070 be better, but thats all your budget if you dont want more ram.

looking at the figures the 580 be stronger and faster with its 256 bit memory bus compared to 192 of the 1060.

looking at the monitor, it looks like a nice one even if its not a gaming one and has the hdmi ports so should be no issues running 3.
