my system problems running 3dmark06

i have an e6300 overclocked to 3.1 ghz
p5b delux motherboard
corsair 6400 800mhz ram
geforce 8800gtx

my core tem idles at 42 degrees and loads at 50 degrees
and my games do work such as x3 and COH
but my 3dmark score is low around 4k


any ideas ?

i have almost the same setup as you 3080 e6300 and a gtx and im so close to 11k in 06, u set all ** quality settings to the lowest in ** control panel? u want everything as low as it can go then run it as default 1280x1024 aa,af off and texture filtering optimal.

your score sounds about right for running lots of aa and af

ive just changed my motherboard processor and ram i wonder if there is some snafu in the system

i had a fx-60 and 8800gtx and got over 10k

is it this hardware change? and how do i rectify it
