Hi guys, as i mentioned in my red arrows post this was my first time at doing aviation photography at Farnborough Air Show this weekend and can't wait to go and do it again.

Unfortunately couldn't get that close to the fences on the side of the runway as they were populated by the enthusiasts that got there at 7 in the morning. So had to make do with standing 5 or 6 deep, still think i got a few good shots.

Comments and critiscm welcome.

That lot in pic 8 were practising above my Hometown this morning, gits were distracting me big time from my archery :)

Nice shots by the way :)

Great shots better than mine, just trying to learn how to use the camera, a lot of mine were a bit dark and needed lightening..

Got no3 (the Vulcan) in a wallpaper size?

Was at Farnborough today myself. Seeing the Vulcan flying again was fantastic. I love that plane to bits. It looks so innocent and graceful, yet with concieved to erase entire cities with nukes.

will send it to you, not sure what the quality was like in HQ though.

Was amazing to see the plane, i knew nothing about it until a few months ago when i learnt that they were attempting to get it flying again. It was stunning to hear the crowd go silent when it flew over and took off. Also the sound when they first cranked up the engines. Awesome!

I got in at 9:30 on Sat & about 9:15 on Sunday. Just managed to get a spot on the fence up at the take-off end.

Anyway, nice reporting of the show. It wasn't a perfect show, but it was pretty impressive... if only for the Vulcan and that fabulous A380 display. On Sunday the wind was blowing onto the crowd rather than down the runway. When the 380 went past the crowd got -- quite literally! -- sandblasted by grass cuttings.
