I need something to convert my 3 1/2 inch thing into a bigger size, more specifically 5.25".

Is there anything on the market which will boost my size to this extent, as I'm currently finding no pleasure in having my smaller item thrust inside a larger hole.

Is this my fault or should I be looking at finding a smaller hole to begin with?

Many thanks.

*oh, extension item should preferably come in black brushed aluminium.

Haha I know! I don't understand why those two are being so awkward :p

Well its actually for a SD card reader device, thing, they are typically 3.5
All my drive bays are 5.25, and being a new case I have, I don't think they have released any accessories or what have you yet.

Unless anybody knows of a 5.25 SD reader etc?

Oh you meant a drive bay! There was me thinking a "small thing" was a nice Aubergine you bought from the Supermarket.

Silly me!

and there was me thinking i was going to read a **** related topic....(not that im into that type of thing guvnor)

You can often find a smaller hole quite close to the bigger hole you are struggling to fill. The installation process can take a bit of time, especially as theres not really enough room to get your hands in as well, so be prepared to take your time. i think you'll find that although initially quite a tight fit your little 3 1/2 thing will be easily accomodated. Just be careful not to get your hands trapped.
