I have decided to move on from my trusty Lexa cooled case because I want more room!
Also want to make upgrading easier so this is hopefully going to be a progect that will bring down my case temperatures, simplify it and make working on it easier!

Out with the old!

It has 2x 320GB WD Blues in Raid 0, 8800GTX card, PA120.2 rad in the top with a swiftech micro res at the back and a DDC pump below the DVD drive.
I never got around to cutting the front 5 1/2" drive bay covers to tidy up the rad that you can see!

Has a bit of UV lighting to!

Next will be the TJo7 in bits!

Already had some problems with the TJ07!
Had to RMA the motherboard tray as some of the ATX mounting points had badly formed threads. I plan to make it a BTX layout to shorten my loop and make things a bit easier.
I will only be cooling the CPU as this will make swapping the graphics card easier.
The rad will be changed to a PA120.3 for the hell of it! I plan to run 3 PWM fans on it linked to CPU temp and 2 PWM fans in the top to replace the Silverstone ones linked to case temp. I also plan to fit 2x120 fans in the front volt modded to 7v for increased air flow and then you have the normal 2x92mm fans at the back.
That will just leave cutting some holes for better cable management, cutting a hole behind the CPU to aid water block changes and mounting the hdd's in a new location, maybe with an additional fan!
Lastly I have got a Corsair SSD 128GB for loading the OS onto and will go with Windows 7 I think. I backed up my raid to a spare hdd before I took the old system apart :)

I have decided to use velcro on the bottom of the rad stand just to save drilling more holes through the case!

And a view of the front of the case showing where the res will be / is!

Got my mobo tray back. They seem to have changed the design for better access.
I changed the fan round to extract.

I have mocked the build up so I can see where to drill more holes to improve the cable management.
You can see how I am mounting the hard drives better now.

I have also put the rad in and located the pump position to try and reduce more drilling

Here are some other pics to see how it will shape up

Sweet, will be interesting to see this take shape. What mounting technique are you considering for the front mounted fans?

I have ordered 2 Scythe Kama bays to hold the fans in the front, and I will be using the original hdd bays to mount the hdd's with a 3.5" to 5.5" adaptor. This way I can put and extra fan in to ensure good air flow over the drives.

I will have to drill some holes to mount it and move it forward to clear the fans at the front, but I can live with that :D

More pics to come soon!

Bummer!
Just been told my Scythe Kama bay system cooler order to mount my 120mm fans in the front bays has been cancelled as they have discountinued the product!!

So, I am now on the hunt for some mesh like that on the top to fold and hold the 2x120mm fans and mount to the frame, a bit like the fans on the top.

Darn my best laid plans!
