Small update,

Braided the 8 pin and 24 pin -

I decided to braid 8 individual wires on the 8 pin and then 6 lots of 4 for the 24 pin.

I also took another chunk out of my case to help with the cable routing -

Just need my 5870 to turn up now so i can crack on. Still cant decide if i should leave it at one loop or run two.......

Andy :D

Looking good and love the colour, think the 8 pin might of looked better braided as 2 lots of 4 cables, so a bit tighter, but thats only my opinion :)

I know what you mean, because this was my first ever pc build i wasnt too sure what braiding style to go for so i tried a few different types :D

Well seeing as there isnt much i can do now until I get my 5870 thought i would mess around with the lighting -

Just a small update/change of plan, im now not using a water cooled 5870 on this system, instead its reverting back to a cpu only loop and im putting two 5770's in.

They have quite a bit of red on them so it does spoil the overall green effect slightly

Planning on using my 5870 block on my next upcoming build

Ive already put the loop together and am leak testing as we speak, will try and get some pics up as soon as I can.

Ok some pics.

two new 5770's installed, real shame they have so much red on them !

Still quite a bit of work to do, no drives installed yet. And like i said not too happy about the routing of the tubes.
