MY trade ins for this month

Well, this month, I am about to go trade in the following with the following reasons:

Mass Effect: I have bought this game about 10 times, each time I struggle to get into it, nothing will ever compare to KOTOR

Assassins Creed 2: GOTY for me, loved it

Just don't have the time to get 1000gs on it, so in it goes for another game

Prince of Persia: Bought for the first time the other week, bloody terrible, hated it

SF4: Liked it with a few mates, but play it to rarely to enjoy it

Dirt 1: Loved this game on the PC, just not on the 360, oh well

Avatar the game: Xmas pressie, not a bad game, just didnt grip me is all.

Will be picking up darksiders maybe, who knows

Might also get GOTY edition of Fable II, completed it already, but it's a very fun game

Anyways, what trade in's have you lot done recently and why?

Operation Flashpoint - Loved coop but MP fell flat on its face

MW2 - Clocked up 5 days on the MP and had my fill, its so packed full of novelty when it wears off there's not enough left to keep me coming back

Tiger Woods 10 - Got board

Forza 3 - Just couldn't be bothered with it

NHL 10 - Shouldnt of got rid of it.....hopefully online coop will stop me from selling NHL 11 next year if they include it.

I now have 0 games in my collection

just playing 1943 for now till BC2 comes out.

Nothing, I don't trade games in as by the time I have completed them they are worth 50p.

Although I do buy very selectively these days.

I'm trying to decide what to buy with the trade in value lol, I was thinking either Darksiders or Fable II GOTY edition... Can't decide!!!

My 360 died twice over Christmas but the second time it wasn't fixable, so I traded everything I had for a PS3 slim.
That included all my 360 hardware, pads, HDD, wireless adapter, as well as;
Tiger Woods 09 - I enjoyed it, but never finished it and couldn't be bothered getting back into it once I stepped away from it.
Star Ocean - I completed this and enjoyed it to an extent, but it won't be my most memorable RPG.
GTA: Tales from Liberty City - I barely got to play this, but it was looking good. Though I feel like I've played enough GTA for now.
Beautiful Katamari - Fun but short.
I also got rid of the Wii with Sonic and Mario at the Olympics, Zelda, Wii Play and Rayman Raving Rabids.

I'm now enjoying Assassin's Creed 2 as a result and have Modern Warfare 2 waiting to be played next.

I've stopped trading in games now. They just rip you off and then you feel the need to buy it back again lol

How have you justified buying a game, selling it, then buying it again? Let alone doing that more than once!?

I have no idea mate! I seem to do it with this game only, and each time I play it, I remember why I chucked it in the first place, I just don't like it

Never traded in anything. Don't get it. They give you peanuts, even for pretty recent titles. I am a collector though (~200 or so boxed titles I think).

May as well go for Darksiders, you've already completed Fable II - why bother buying it again?

Haven't traded anything in for ages, which is why my collection has jumped from 24 games up to about 52 inside a year or so.

I understand the argument against trading, but for me it seems pointless keeping them as they won't get played again. They only truly go for peanuts if they're old or a sequel has been released. I tend to play my games and trade them in fairly quickly while they still command a reasonable amount.

I just bay mine. Bought MW2 for £29.99 played for a couple of months and sold for £30 to someone in spain.
