My transformation, 1 year 10 months. *Updated*

Well this is my before and after, just thought id share, i have done one of these every few months *while im getting stronger and more lean* for all those people who want to loose weight but cant see the light at the end of the tunnel and might get a little inspiration.

The first is of me in feb of 2009 and i was a large 23 and half stone, i think i wore it quite well.

The second is of me as of december 20 2010, currently just under 13 stone and a nice 12% body fat, please excuse the totally tired look, i just got in from the gym and been up for 20+ hours ^^

Current measurements -
Arms - 46 CM/18.1 Inch
Chest - 111.7 CM/44 Inch

-----------------------------

Anyway for all those people doubting themselves, this is what i did in 1 year 10 months, if i can do it so can you.
-----------------------------------
So heres how i did it, i started off by totally changing my diet, cut out all crap including sweets, crisps, fizzy drinks everything, only healthy foods allowed, a high protein low carbohydrate diet, but just to start out to get the main amount of the weight away, as i lost more weight i re-introduced carbs back into my diet, but just wholemeal carbs such as brown pasta maybe once a week.
Next i bought myself a stepper, i spent 30 minutes a day on it with a minimum being 20, as the weight started to drop i increased the time to 40 minutes then 50 etc etc... also doing situps, crunches, pushups, pullups, pretty much every excercise that doesnt need weights.
When i got to a decent weight i started gpong to the gym.
And thats pretty much it to be honest, if anyone out there says they cant loose weight then they are just lazy, plain and simple, everyone can do it, it just takes will power.

I know this is quite a personal question, but hopefully you won't mind answering; what size waist and chest did you have at your heaviest, and what are they now?

Would love to know more of a story behind this. What worked for you, what didn't. What foods, etc, etc and what eventually made you change your mind to just do it.

Dude, do people even recognise you?

Great achievement, that's a hell of a lot of weight to shift.

Incredible stuff. Well Done!

Did you have someone to help create a workout/nutrition plan or did you just 'know' what to do?

At what point did you think, -right i want to start building muscle?
